Guy Ben Shetrit, born in 1972 in Petah Tikwa in Israel, is an animator, internationally awarded director, screenwriter and a musician. “Hey” (3D animation music video, released in Nov. 2008, 03:49 min) is Guy Ben Shetrit’s first independent project as a director after 13 years of serving as an animator for commercials, TV programs and computer games. “Hey” was screened at 110 international animation and film festivals, won 14 international awards, and was a massive internet hit with almost a million views in YouTuve, Vimeo and other websites. Hey was covered in design magazines as Stash, IDN, "3D World" (special feature and interview) and more. In addition to being a successful animator, Ben Shetrit is also a well known musician in Israel, with Eatliz his third musical project. “Hey” is a song taken from Eatliz band debut album. In 2008 Ben Shetrit and Studio Aiko (Israel) won the MTV international art break contest, and their MTV Art break (Based on "Hey") was broadcasted all ober MTV network stations worldwide. Ben Shetrit is a self tought animator.
